Life Is

life is a puzzle.

Each piece is scattered throughout our time here on Earth and it is up to us to find the pieces and place them exactly where they belong.
It will not be easy.
In fact we will not know what the pieces are or where they may be hidden.
It could be as simple as a revelation.
Or a random act of kindness.
Maybe in the shape of another human being who may teach us the meaning of something profound.
Perhaps a journey through a tremulous time that will give us an insight to courage and hope.
It could be as simple as feeling the heat of the sun on our skin and at that precise moment revel in how warm and pleasing it feels.
As confusing as the wetness of a tear as it slides down your cheek to make you realize that you can cry when you are happy as well as sad.
Or an aroma so inviting that it can stir your senses to overload and enable you to feel an abundance of emotions ranging from ecstasy to fear.
Maybe it will be a moment in a memory that was placed in one's mind and then forgotten, to be resurrected at a time when needed the most.

Life is a puzzle.

But with each new segment that completes the corners and borders of our picture it will be seen as a accomplishment.
Not because we have failed or achieved but simply because we have tried.
There will not be a winning outcome in every endeavor we set out to pursue.
In fact we will have many disappointments that will leave us battered and unable to comprehend the meaning of choice.
But then there are the frustrations that will have us in a boundless state of euphoria and it is when we are in eye of this storm we must sit down and reflect where it is leading us and if it is the right path to follow and if, in the grand scheme of things, it will change us for the better or for the worse.

Which will you choose?

To have power in the knowledge that you can achieve all you want and not bear any consequences of your actions, or be one of the people with a conscience and stop before it is too late.
The money or the box.
Decisions.
They can make or break you.
Would it be better if we were all clones implanted with a switch that was controlled by a higher plane of existence.
That it was THEY who controlled our every thought and move.
Sometimes I believe that it could be like that.
We listen and we see, but ultimately it is our decision as to what we believe.

The world is a puzzle.

And it is filled with pieces that only we can put together, in any semblance of order that we like.
It could be a perfect border and corners and our centerpiece could be as jumbled as a comic book of colors with no faces or places to see.
That is where we, as an entity, come and put a face to a place and follow through the scenario that is before us.
Yes this may seem a confusing mumbo jumbo of words and too hard to make sense of but in reality if you just read between the lines it is as plain as the nose on your face.
Look in the mirror and see yourself for who you are.
ME.
US.
YOU.
THEM.
THEY.
THOSE.
Can you see that these small words are growing in capacity as you read.
And that is what life is like.
It will grow as you grow and with it will come such clarity and resolution to all that you challenge.
You may be meek and mild but have such power in your convictions as to overshadow one who is loud and obnoxious and too forceful with greed.

There we have it.

Life is a puzzle.

But with it comes such promise and the finalization of a complete picture.
It may not look like the picture on the box but it will still be your life.
And life is just that.
It is what we make it.
With all the ups and downs and the challenges it is still LIFE.
We are just a page in the next chapter of evolution and we should try to leave this world as an example.

Everyday I'm still finding pieces of my puzzle, still searching for the right spot, the right direction in which my pieces fit. Everyday I grow a little...spiritually, mentally, emotionally. I'm nowhere near perfect, but with each piece of the puzzle that comes together for me, I move closer to what I'm supposed to be. This is life.

Some Rules To Live By

1. Never stop thinking. This is important. If someone ever says to you ‘You need to stop thinking so much,’ call them ignorant in your head and keep thinking deeper. It is this mentality that breeds stupidity and sheeple. Your mind is the most important tool you have, if you stop using it, it will atrophy. Question everything.

2. Stare into space blankly and don’t mentally punish yourself for doing it, even if it is for that split second. If you have a problem with staring blankly, think of it as daydreaming.

3. Root Beer sucks after having spicy food.

4. Everything is going to be just fine. If you worry about acne, you’re going to get a fucking pimple.

5. Don’t be afraid to talk about anything. You shouldn’t be afraid of reality.

6. Everyone is a hypocrite.

7. You are all original. Every life experience is case sensitive and unique. Every time you wake up or go to the bathroom or quote someone else, you are becoming more you than anyone has ever been.

8. Do pointless things. Don’t actively restrain or hide yourself from the redundant.

9. Stop rushing. Shut up and embrace the sound of silence.

10. Religion shouldn’t be taught, it should be found. No one should tell you what to believe except you. And while were on the subject…

11. Don’t be restrained by one religion. People change every moment of everyday. Minds grow and evolve. Religion has no law so feel free to mix and match. Make your own.

12. Going to the bathroom is not a right nor a privilege. it’s an act of nature.

13. Talking to yourself is healthy. Is there anyone that you have more in common with?

14. There is no such thing as time. The sun never sets or rises. Days and years don’t exist. There is only your life. Earlier today you were born and death is predicted later in the evening.

15. We will always be in a transitional phase. Look outside and know that everything will be replaced at some point. This existence is temporary.

16. Its not half empty or half full. Its half a glass.

17. Every now and then take something that you see everyday and try to see it in a different light. Renew its existence.

18. Be happy, but don’t force it.

19. You will always succeed in trying.

20. We are all crazy. Every person you read about in the history books had some kind of ‘disorder’, they just knew how to use it.

21. We are all about as similar as we are different.

22. Ideas are just as valuable as people. Why do you think we keep making people?

87. Numbers don’t have to go in order.

24. Words will always be just words. Love is just another four letter word, only the feeling is real.

25. Ask a child for advice. They may not know much, but they know what is important.

26. Prove you’re alive. Do anything from dancing in the supermarket to screaming ‘Fuck’ during a moment of silence. Remind the world you are still here.

27. Don’t take anything, even this, too seriously.

The Spirit Of Diversity

Why not let people differ about their answers to the great mysteries of the Universe? Let each seek one's own way to the highest, to one's own sense of supreme loyalty in life, one's ideal of life. Let each philosophy, each world-view bring forth its truth and beauty to a larger perspective, that people may grow in vision, stature and dedication.

The religions of humanity should be a unifying force, for all the great religions reveal a basic unity in ethics. Whether it be Judaism, Catholicism, Protestantism, Buddhism or Confucianism, all grow out of a sense of the sacredness of human life. This moral sensitivity to the sacredness of human personality -- the Commandments not to kill, not to hurt, not to put a stumbling block in the path of the blind, not to neglect the widow or the fatherless, not to exploit the servant or the worker -- all this can be found in the Bibles of humanity, in all the sacred books.

All teach in substance: "Do unto others as you would that others should do unto you." There is, then, a basic unity among the great religions in the matter of ethics. True, there are religious philosophies which turn people away from the world, from the here and now, concentrating life-purposes on salvation for one's self or a mystic union with some supernatural reality. But most of the great religions agree on mercy, justice, love -- here on earth. And they agree that the great task is to move people from apathy, from an acceptance of the evils in life, to face the possibilities of the world, to make life sweet for one another instead of bitter. This is the unifying ethical task of all the religions -- yes, of all the philosophies of humankind. There is no need to force our own theological points of view upon one another or to insist that the moral life grows out of final, absolute authority.~Algernon Black

I wholeheartedly agree with this quote, I absolutely love it~~Hear! Hear!
